Bruce K. Anderson
Mr. Anderson co-founded Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), the largest private equity investor in information, business services, healthcare and communications with over $16 billion of capital under management. Prior to co-founding WCAS, Mr. Anderson spent nine years at Automatic Data Processing where he was Executive Vice President, President of ADP International, and a member of the Board of Directors.
John Pappajohn
Mr. Pappajohn has been a Director of Patient Infosystems since its inception in February 1995, and served as its Secretary and Treasurer from inception through May 1995. Since 1969, Mr. Pappajohn has been the sole owner of Pappajohn Capital Resources, a venture capital firm and President of Equity Dynamics, Inc., a financial consulting firm, both located in Des Moines, Iowa. He serves as a director for the following public companies: Allion Healthcare, Inc., MC Informatics, Inc. and Pace Health Management Systems, Inc.
Stephen R. Puckett
Mr. Puckett, currently Chairman of Hospital Partners of America, founded MedCath Corporation in 1988, a cardiovascular services company focused on partnering with physicians to develop and operate specialty heart hospitals. While at MedCath, he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer until January 2000. Prior to forming MedCath, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority (CMHS), a nearly 2000-bed multi-hospital system. Puckett also serves on the Board of Directors of PharmaNetics, Inc.
Derace L. Schaffer, MD
Dr. Schaffer, founder of Radiologix, one of the country’s leading providers of imaging services, is currently Clinical Professor of Radiology at the Cornell Medical School. Dr. Schaffer is the founder and CEO of the Lan Group, a venture capital firm specializing in healthcare investments. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Allion Healthcare, Ancillary Care Services, CareGuide and Healthcare Acquisition Corporation and has founded more than fifteen other healthcare companies. Dr. Schaffer received his postgraduate radiology training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Patrick J. Welsh
Mr. Welsh co-founded Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 1979, the largest private equity investor in information, business services, healthcare and communications. Mr. Welsh focuses on investments in the information and business services industry. Previously, he spent eight years with Citicorp Venture Capital where he served as President at the time of his departure.
